Surrendering Your Bunny

Bunnies are among the most abandoned and neglected pets. Many people acquire them as Easter gifts, novelties, or simply because they’re cute, without realizing how much work they require. Bunnies need space, attention, and financial commitment, but many assume they can be left in a cage or hutch with minimal care. Sometimes, unforeseen circumstances make it hard for owners to continue caring for their rabbits. Many of our bunnies come from owner surrenders. When we take in a new bunny, we ensure they are vetted and spayed or neutered if needed. Once they settle into their new environment, we work on bonding them with other bunnies at the rescue.

If you need to surrender your bunny, please contact us. We request a $100 tax-deductible donation for each bunny that hasn’t been spayed or neutered.

*AT THIS TIME WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY NEW SURRENDERS. PLEASE CONTACT US TO JOIN THE WAITING LIST.
